Brain Longevity Therapy Training Scholarship

To celebrate its 30th Anniversary, the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation was delighted to grant 12 scholarships to the Brain Longevity® Therapy Training (BLTT).

What is the Brain Longevity Therapy Training:

The Brain Longevity Therapy Training course is one of a kind, specialty training designed to give insight into ARPF’s many years of research regarding prevention of both Alzheimer’s disease and dementia at a train-the-trainer level.

Guidelines for the Award of this Scholarship:

The scholarship has a retail value of $450 and ARPF will grant it to an individual so that we can build a mutually beneficial relationship serving older adults and individuals at risk. ARPF wants to especially support individuals working in underserved communities or those where health disparities are present, and who are interested in either building a new program or updating their existing programs.

The Purpose of this Scholarship is to:

    • Reach underserved communities and those with health disparities.

    • Promote access to the 4 Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention to those who may normally not be aware of this program.

This Scholarship Includes:

    • Full BLTT course.

    • 1 year membership at the Foundation level.

    • 1 mentoring call with select members of the scholarship committee upon graduation.

Scholarship Requirements:
    • Participate in a zoom meeting with ARPF staff upon completion of the application.

    • Complete the course within 4 months.

    • Attend the majority of 6 annual webinars.

    • Interact with the BLTT community at webinars and on the private FB group page (if a FB subscriber).

Scholarships are organized into 2 cycles, please see below for the details:

Cycle 1: Spring/Summer 2025

  • Applications due by May 1st
  • Final decisions by May 15th
  • Applicants begin BLTT by end of May
  • Applicants complete BLTT by October 1st
  • Scholarship mentoring call: mid-late October 2025
 

Cycle 2: Fall/Winter 2025

  • Applications due by September 1st
  • Final decisions by September 15th
  • Applicants begin BLTT end of September
  • Applicants complete BLTT by February 1st
  • Scholarship mentoring call: mid-late March 2026
