You're invited to our workshop on June 4th where we will explore the proven Ayurvedic principles of diet, proper daily routine, exercise, meditation, herbal supplements, surprising five-sense therapies, and what it all means for brain health.

Ayurveda, the traditional healthcare system of India, is a remarkable method that creates super health and healing. According to Ayurveda, health is a state of balance and disease a state of imbalance, based on 3 fundamental principles, or what they call doshas:

    • Vata: governs all movement in the physiology
    • Pitta: governs digestion and transformation
    • Kapha: governs structure

Moreover, this ancient science places strong emphasis on proper digestion as fundamental to health. When digestion is suboptimal, this can lead to the accumulation of digestive toxins, which sets the stage for chronic disease. This idea is now backed by modern functional medical science.

According to Ayurveda, causes of Alzheimer’s disease include disruption of “vata,” stress, social isolation, loss of purpose or hope in life, and environmental pollutants. Poor dietary habits, with excessive intake of processed or otherwise unhealthy foods, may also play a leading role.

For prevention and management of Alzheimer disease, Ayurveda recommends a range of evidence-based holistic approaches similar to ARPF's 4 Pillars of Alzheimer's Prevention®. In this workshop, we will share the proven Ayurvedic principles of diet, proper daily routine, exercise, meditation, herbal supplements, surprising five sense therapies, and more.

We will also reveal practical and surprisingly simple strategies to empower you and your clients in these areas.
