The Neuroscience of Yoga

 Thursday, July 16th

4 pm PT / 7 pm ET for 60 minutes

Guest Speaker: Kristine Kaoverii Weber, MA, C-IAYT

Our guest speaker Kristine Kaoverii Weber will take you on a journey through the brain and discuss ways in which yoga can help optimize your brain function and nervous system. She will discuss the benefits of bringing 'yoga’s ways of knowing' into what it means to be a healthy human. Kristine will also examine how yoga can be utilized across the continuum of care: from prevention, to treatment, to recovery, to health promotion. Furthermore, participants will look at research-based benefits of yoga and discuss specific strategies for using yoga postures to benefit different parts of the brain.

Participants will receive a PDF of Kristine’s PowerPoint presentation and a link to a free YouTube Class: Subtle Yoga for Greater Nervous System Resilience and Brain Function. You will also receive a stick-figure cheat sheet of the practices.

We want to make our programs affordable for everyone during these times, so we decreased the admission fee to only $10. However, if you are able to donate more, please consider showing your support. Your additional donation to this webinar is so very much appreciated to help us continue our mission to prevent the causes of Alzheimer’s disease.
