I’m delighted to announce the following educational Webinar:

Spiritual Fitness™ and Kindness: Why are They so Important for Your Health and Wellbeing

Dr. Dale Atkins

Our esteemed speaker is Dale Atkins, PhD, co-author of The Kindness Advantage, presenter, guest psychologist on the Today Show and other media, and a licensed psychologist with more than forty years of experience. As Dr. Atkins says, “At a time when we encounter so much rude behavior and bullying from children and adults, we need to ask ourselves, how do we want to be treated and how are we going to treat others? Now more than ever, every kindness is paramount. What’s more, kindness leads to a lot of other good things, like compassion and happiness, tolerance, better relationships, improved self-esteem, good mental and physical health, and it gives meaning to our lives.”

Kindness is now a well-known part of Spiritual Fitness, which is your ARPF’s 4th Pillar of Alzheimer’s Prevention.

In this webinar, we will discuss the role of kindness in the context of baby boomers and older adults, which is of utmost importance if our goal is healthy and happy aging, both for ourselves and for our clients/students.

You will learn:

1 What being kind to ourselves and others looks like as we get older

2 The benefits of kindness to our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing

3 Effective ways to engage with those around you with empathy, compassion, and acceptance as we observe situations through a lens of kindness.

I know Dr. Atkins personally and can tell you she has a wealth of knowledge and is a captivating speaker. I strongly hope you will attend this webinar and learn the tips she will share with us.

Yours in Brain Health,

Dharma Singh Khalsa, MD

President/Medical Director
