Description

One hour video presentation recorded live at the 30 Years of Alzheimer's Prevention Conference in Scottsdale, AZ, includes Q&A. It has been increasingly recognized that understanding a person's spiritual or religious beliefs in the health care setting can have important implications for understanding how patients make decisions about various aspects of medical care and how they cope with physical and mental health problems. In this presentation, Dr. Newberg illustrates the relationship between spirituality and health, how to assess this relationship, and how spirituality is related to various physiological processes in the brain and body. PLEASE NOTE: This video will be uploaded on November 23, 2023.
